Five years later, I can confidently say it was the best decision I’ve ever made.
My mental health has improved in ways I never imagined. The stress, anxiety, and emptiness I used to feel every day? Gone. I wake up excited about my work, deeply fulfilled by the life I’ve created. I’ve had incredible experiences—parasailing over MedellĂn, meditating in a Thai Buddhist temple, meeting people from all walks of life who have expanded my perspective in ways I never could have imagined.
And most importantly? I now have an unshakable belief in myself. I’ve proven to myself that I can take risks, that I can create a life I love, and that I am fully capable of handling whatever comes next. Once you break free from the fear of “what if,” the possibilities become limitless.
