DESCRIPTION

Giving Backpacks is a nonprofit effort started by two enthusiastic college boys. They gather donated backpacks and ship them to kids in Vietnam.

It was fun to catch their vision on the project as we worked with them to create beautiful and fun branding. We really wanted it to be eye-catching and fun as well as appealing. 

As their organization is focused on serving kids we wanted to use a spin-off of the primary colors: red, blue, and yellow. We used a softer tone of each of these colors for variety and paring options.

We focused on yellow and blue as the main colors to show trustworthiness and happiness. Red is the perfect accent color because it is attention-grabbing and signifies love.

We created a swirl design to subtly use throughout the website to capture the energy the founders had.
